i just watched the White House Press Correspondents Dinner on YouTube…. holy. shit. if more people had balls like that and the brains and perseverance in the face of a tough crowd to match, we’d have a worldwide revolution in no time. that’s all i have to say.
we’d have a little jam session where i’d play random non-chord chords on my guitar with lots of feedback and she’d just make lots of high-pitched noises. it would be sick.
and then we’d eat sushi and drink tea in Tokyo.
as everyone has said here, he’s a fantastically deadpan comedic actor who practically saved Mallrats. but i also loved him in Almost Famous where he did a dramatic act… just shows his range.
his dad (Stan Lee) created comic superheroes in more ways than one. ;)
i read her book, World Hunger as an undergrad. she came to my university to do a book signing, and i couldn’t believe that this down to earth woman could save the earth. truly radiant.
